Designed with young readers in mind
Creating an accessible book mattered to me just as much as creating a beautiful one.
I spent hours testing and adjusting the typography, spacing, placement, and readability of The Gratitude Rock. The book uses a dyslexia-friendly font and intentionally designed pages to help make the story welcoming and easier to read for more children.
A children's book isn't truly inclusive if children struggle to access the words on the page.

Creating the Spanish edition became especially meaningful to me.
My own children inspired me to begin learning Spanish. Ten years ago, I could not have imagined reading a children's book aloud in Spanish, much less one I had written.
The Spanish edition was translated by my son, Cameron Lewis, and developed with young bilingual readers and families in mind.
